October is Car Care Month - Show Your Toyota You CareYour

Toyota
is made to give you the most reliable and longest lasting vehicle performance. Giving your Toyota some attention, in the form of regularly scheduled maintenance, will help it do just that. A Toyota factory-trained technician can recommend any maintenance your Toyota may need, but here are some starters. Keep your oil clean. Changing your oil and oil filter at the proper mileage/month interval is key. Use the right grade of motor oil and a Genuine Toyota Oil Filter. Tire maintenance is essential to a safe drive. Air-pressure checks and adjustments will help minimize tire wear and increase your gas mileage. When it's time to replace tires, the experts agree that getting tires that match your vehicle specifications is crucial. Of course, your Service Advisor can always help determine what tire best suits your vehicle and usage requirements.
Air Filters are recommended for inspection every 15,000 miles or 18 months, whichever comes first. You'll know your air filter needs to be replaced if it's grimy or oil-soaked. Air filters clean the air that your's engine breathes if you wouldn't want to breath the air that comes out of the filter, your engine won't either. The weather is changing so now is a good time to check your wipers make sure you're able to see clearly. With normal usage, replacement at 6 months or 6,000 miles should be fine. You can do it yourself or let us help you the next time you're at the service drive. Being able to stop your vehicle is as important as keeping it moving. Have your brakes inspected at regular intervals based on your Toyota's recommended maintenance schedules. Check the scheduled maintenance guide for services your Toyota may need based on model, year, and mileage. If your vehicle is due for service, you can schedule an appointment online.
